Key Workflows & Best Practices

1. Master Device Clock-In Restriction

In multi-tablet restaurants (e.g. table-ordering tablets, customer display terminals, kitchen bump bars), enabling Master device only prevents staff members from clocking in from unmonitored stations or personal devices. Employees must enter their PIN at the central cashier register.

2. Timecard Operations

• Clock In: Staff members enter their 4-to-6 digit PIN on the lock screen or staff menu to start their shift.
• Clock Out: Staff members tap clock out at the end of their shift. The POS computes total gross hours and records break intervals.
• Auditing: Shift logs are accessible under Reports > Time Cards and can be exported as CSV for payroll processing.

Troubleshooting & FAQs
