Taishin Credit Card Machine Integration Setup

After acquiring a Taishin A910/A920 credit card machine and adding on the “Taishin Credit Card Machine Integration” module, you can set up QUEUE POS to integrate with the credit card machine, eliminating the need to manually enter transaction amounts.

POS Connection Setup

Step 1: Check the Credit Card Machine IP Address

Operate the Taishin credit card machine:

1. Tap the i icon in the top right corner of the function menu.
2. View the LOCAL IP address.

Step 2: Configure QUEUE POS to Establish Card Machine Connection

Log in to QUEUE POS using the tablet or mobile device you intend to use for checkout.

1. Go to Settings > Devices > Tap the first device with an asterisk (this is the currently used device).
2. Enable the Card Terminal option > Enter the LOCAL IP address displayed on the credit card machine from Step 1 into the IP Address field.
3. Tap Save.

Step 3: Perform Connection Confirmation

Return to the QUEUE POS homepage: Tap the top-left back arrow > Tap the top-left three lines Menu > Home

1. Open a new order with an amount greater than $1 > Payment.
2. Select the payment type to Card Terminal > Tap Pay now.
3. Confirm that the amount appears on the Taishin credit card machine. Proceed with the card payment. After a successful transaction, tap 完成 on the Taishin credit card machine, and QUEUE POS will complete the order.

Caution

If you perform a credit card test, remember to go to Orders > Void that test order. Voiding an order does not intergrate to a credit card refund. Please perform refunds separately using the Taishin credit card machine itself.

Connection Troubleshooting

If you encounter connection issues, please try the following methods:

1: Verify IP

Verify IP Address Settings

1. Confirm that the LOCAL IP address of the credit card machine from Step 1 matches the IP Address setting in QUEUE POS Devices setting from Step 2.
2. If they do not match, edit the QUEUE POS Device IP Address setting and save.

Tip

It is recommended to ask the credit card machine technician to set the credit card machine’s LOCAL IP address as a static IP to avoid frequent reconfigurations due to IP address changes.

2: Verify Wi-Fi

Check Wi-Fi Connection: Credit Card Machine and POS Must Use the Same Wi-Fi

1. Press the home button (house icon) at the bottom of the credit card machine to return to the homepage.
2. Swipe from the left side of the screen to enter 設置 > WiFi.
3. Enter the credit card machine password: 127867.
4. Confirm that the connected WiFi network is the same as the one used by QUEUE POS.

3: Restart

Persistent Connection Issues

1. Please restart both the credit card machine and the router.
2. Please confirm if you can operate standalone credit card transactions directly on the Taishin credit card machine. If not, please contact the repair hotline located on the back of the credit card machine.
3. Please confirm if any other devices are occupying the same IP address as the Taishin credit card machine. If so, please reconfigure the network connection of that device, or contact the repair hotline on the back of the credit card machine to request a technician to change it.
